The nickname "Outlaw" comes from Kirk's unique riding style, fast and furious. Note the self portrait. Having raced on tracks as a young man, Kirk scrapes his floorboards regularly and always leads the pack.
History: The Northern California (NorCal) chapter of the Mild Hogs started shortly after the movie Wild Hogs hit the big screen. One of our members proudly proclaimed to his wife that “we are Wild Hogs”, to which she responded, “more like Mild Hogs”. And hence the name stuck. In the beginning there were only four of us. With the popularity of the club and cool patch, courtesy of the original Mild Hog chapter, our ranks have swelled to five members… and occasional stragglers. We ride locally in Northern California most weekends throughout the year, yes even in the winter… It is California! We have also been to Sturgis in 2008, 2010 and plan to return as soon as possible, but not before the warrants expire.
